Women in Rural Practice Working
Group Sub Group on the Wonca Rural Working Party Chair: Dr. Barbara Doty (bdoty@alaska.net) The focus of the group is to develop a Policy of Women in Rural Family Medical Practice building on the Calgary Commitment. In early 2002, the group presented a draft Policy for Female Family Physicians in Rural Practice to the 5th World Rural Health Conference and the Wonca Working Party on Rural Practice in May 2002. The draft Policy will be presented by the Working Party on Rural Practice in June 2002 for adoption by the Wonca Executive.
