VEKS - a multidisciplinary study from Norway

At Oslo College, section for health professionals, we have a multidisciplinary
study called VEKS. This is a project of co-operation in the section for health
which contain the following subjects:
- Science theory and method of research
- Ethics
- Communication an co-operation
- State and community knowledge, health and social politics
In VEKS the student work in groups, with several cases they have to solve together.
The college want each student to learn to co-operate with other health professionals,
based on the fact that every person are unique and has the same elementary rights.
The purpose of the school are a common part of contents, which contribute that
all health professional students acquire the necessary knowledge and understanding
in one common reference who can lead to the basis for developing common attitude
and skills.
This year the college also expand this project. Some student have been in
the Netherlands and started a co-operation with health professional students
down there.
