Featured Alert: The epidemiology of early Swine Flu in the USA

CDC researchers have published epidemiological data from 642 confirmed early novel swine flu patients in North America. The range of severity, especially the 9% hospitalisation rate is of concern, however the authors state "the number of confirmed cases underestimates the number of cases that have occurred."
