MEET DOCTOR PHILIP EVANS, REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, EUROPE REGION

Doctor Philip Evans is married to Christine and they have 3 children. He is a general practitioner in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England in a semi rural practice covering the market town and surrounding villages.

Philip has been a member of Council of the Royal College of General Practitioners for 16 years, 13 years as a Member and Chairman of International Committee of RCGP.

His involvement in Wonca began in 1993 when he was the RCGP representative to Wonca.  He was Honorary Secretary of the European Region from 1995-2001 and is now the Regional Vice President of the Europe Region, 2001-2004.
