WONCA wins Mental Health champion award

Chris Dowrick, chair of the WONCA Working Party on Mental Health writes:

I am delighted to share with you all the news that WONCA has been voted a Mental Health Champion by the World Dignity Project, in the academic and educational institutions category.

In a worldwide vote involving more than 2000 people, we are honoured for making "an outstanding contribution to stand up for, fight for and promote well being for all with equality of treatment and dignity in experience". Many congratulations to everyone in our Working Party who has contributed to this excellent achievement.

We are invited to present our work to the World Dignity Project at their next meeting in Lille, France in December 2019, or else at their conference in San Diego, USA June 11-13 2020.
