WONCA’s Working Parties, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and Young Doctors’ Movements are the heart and soul of our organisation. These groups bring together hundreds of family doctors worldwide who collaborate across regions to advance key areas of family medicine. Through webinars, research, publications, and educational initiatives, they strengthen the global primary care community and expand opportunities for professional growth.

Becoming a member of a Working Party or SIG is one of the best ways to get involved with WONCA, connect with peers, and contribute to the development of family medicine globally. Membership of these groups is free and open to all interested family doctors and other health professionals.

At the meeting in Lisbon in September, the new chairs for the upcoming biennial (2025 - 2027) were confirmed by the WONCA Council.
