His track record of holding leadership positions, including his current role as the President of the East Mediterranean Region of the World Organization of Family Physicians (WONCA), and past President of Oman Family Medicine Society, reflects his dedication to patient-centered healthcare management and a collaborative approach.

His contributions include the establishment of systems to enhance patient care, such as triage systems and patient flow improvements at the Family Medicine Center at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital.
