Get to know WONCA Africa (2018)

As the new president of the World Organization of National Colleges, Academies and Academic Associations of General Practitioners/Family Physicians (WONCA) Africa, I realise that many family doctors in Africa know very little about WONCA. I hope that this editorial and other communications will begin to ensure every family doctor in Africa knows and supports WONCA.

Collaboration with World Health Organization (2019)

Development of African Forum for primary health care (2021)

World Organisation of Family Doctors (WONCA) Africa has been able to use these editorials to share a basic understanding of WONCA Africa as an organization, some plans and achievements since 2018 and its growing relationship with World Health Organization African Region (WHO AFRO). An important project of WONCA Africa is the development of the African Forum for Primary Healthcare (AfroPHC). It speaks strongly to the Kampala Commitment.
